Project Outline
The National Survey of Programs and Services for Homeless Families contains four sections:
1. National Data offers maps and tables of federal government funding allocations, national poverty statistics, and demographic snapshots for each state.
2. State Data provides an outline of each state's government infrastructure. The section also diagrams the agencies, organizations, programs, and services provided at the state level to serve homeless families.
3. Local Data outlines local government resources and approaches to addressing family homelessness, as well as programs and services available for homeless families.
4. Shelter Data presents information gathered from selected emergency and transitional shelters that serve homeless families.
